ZONE OF UTOPIA ( 理想建筑 ) was established in France in 2017. It is a professional design firm focusing on urban planning, urban design, architectural design and interior design. The office is located in Paris, France.

The founder, Dr. Qiang Zou, obtained a master's degree in architecture from L'École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris - Malaquais, and became a registered architect in France. In 2014, Dr. Qiang Zou received his doctorate in Art History from the Paris, La Sorbonne University.

During 2004-2019, Dr. Qiang Zou served as project leader for Ateliers Jean Nouvel, the internationally renowned architecture firm lead by the Pritzker Prize winner Jean Nouvel, Dr. Qiang Zoy has participated as well in the construction of various world-renowned large-scale projects in a15 years time lapse, like Le Musée du Louvre à Abu Dhabi, La Philharmonie de Paris, La Défense Signal Tower de Paris , the Danish Center Hall in Copenhagen, the Perpignan Archipel Theatre, the Sydney One Central Park green high-rise, Chengdu Lux* Hotel and so on. As the project leader, Dr. Qiang Zou presided over the competition for the National Art Museum of China, as a result, Jean Nouvel won the final design right for the project in 2014.
